The 7’6″ heavy is my second spiralite rod that I have bought and I keep getting more and more impressed with every one I get my hands on. It is an excellent jig and flipping rod. Take Twenty pound flourocarbon and any jig/flipping bait you want and go to town. I am now in the process of converting all of my rods over to Spiralite rods because they are the real deal. They are also very affordable so for a college angler like me, they really fit the bill. If your are wanting to get in the spiral wrapped rod game, the Maverick series is right for you!
